Wooden Plaques with Print


The print transfers you can see on the plaques below were created with PVA Glue Transfer, however you can replicate this effect using Water Decals that are available in our online shop at BigBite Studio – Print Transfers.

Here you can see some examples of wooden plaques with print.
All of them were made on reclaimed wood found on London streets, mostly using PVA-glue-print-transfer technique.

    Hi! I’ve used this technique with 2 photos, one historic building and a fun one for the niece. LOVE how easy it is, but was wondering about the sanding at the end. Mine were left very smooth and glossy as soon as the film was removed. Sanding just seemed to scratch. The fun photo is absolutely fine left glossy but the historic photo looks a bit “fake” if you know what I mean. What grade sandpaper did you use??? Any other tips with respect to this???
