Shabby Chic Coffee Table with Vintage Print

Recently we bumped into two cute coffee tables, we couldn’t miss opportunity to makeover them in a Shabby Chic style. Here you have first of them.

This coffee table looks alike most of nest tables we keep coming across Britain. This particular one was bought as a part of set with a nest (we work on it right now). So – Queen Anne style legs with some carving cuts along the rim.

This type of tables asks for strong texture on the top; so we made. With a little bit of distress on the edges we achieved very satisfying Shabby Chic Coffee Table. Let’s not forget about a cherry on the top – which is print of our favourite Vins & Spiritueux French advert (courtesy of ‘Graphics Fairy’); this time made using screen printing method.

This Vintage Shabby Chic Nest of Tables was painted with Annie Sloan’s ‘Old White’ and ‘Paris Grey’. After that it was covered with two layers of Colron’s acrylic non-yellowing varnish, so it is safe to wipe with a dump cloth.
