It has been a while since we posted first part covering our commissioned work with a charming Italian furniture. We are really happy that our client came back to us with some even more pieces to restore in a shabby chic style.

This time we would like to present you some furniture we have done recently for our nice Italian couple.
First of all, after we have delivered the card catalogue, we put our hands on a very handsome bureau with a French twist. The piece (as all of them) was in a really good condition, made of solid wood with working locks and really cute legs.

Some time ago we were approached by lovely lady. She was an archaeologist looking for a tall bureau with a bookcase. We have pointed her to a classy looking Edwardian piece sitting in our Waiting Room and she accepted this!

Hotel Papillon: Vintage Butterfly Print Transfer on Upcycled Bureau

When we found this bureau it took us a while to make up a plan for the makeover.

Kat came up with an idea to use new shade of blue, which would be soft and pastel match nicely with the graphics we printed to line down the bottoms of drawers. The theme is PARIS.

We mixed together ‘Luis Blue’ and ‘Paris Grey’ from Annie Sloan’s pallet to find the perfect shade which we called ‘Paris Blue’.

This bureau sounds French. We upcycled it with a music theme to create a unique custom style.
